“Teach me, and I will be quiet; show me where I have been wrong.” Job 6:24
This is a verse God revealed to me one night as I sat in my college dorm room as a newly transferred freshman. I didn’t know anyone, it was mid-semester and I so desired for God to lead me. While I sat there praying for his guidance, I opened my Bible to this passage and have lived it for almost 30 years now. The problem we have as sinners is that sometimes we think we have all the answers and keep trying to come up with the solutions. But the truth is, God is the only one we should be turning to and relying on. And so that night, I opened my heart and listened as the Lord taught me many things. One of the most important things: to trust Him alone with my life.
